Hi

I've got about 8 different forum categories on my site. Seeing that I don't have the traffic to support that many I would like an easy way to take all forum posts (keeping their replies with them) and move to just one general forum. Is there some code I can paste into a custom page that will take all the posts from the different forums then move them to one forum?

this should do the trick:
<?php
dbquery("UPDATE ".DB_PREFIX."posts SET forum_id = NEW_ID WHERE forum_id = OLD_ID");
dbquery("UPDATE ".DB_PREFIX."threads SET forum_id = NEW_ID WHERE forum_id = OLD_ID");
?>
Impossible things are there to be made possible

It's better to just stay .co.uk all the time now, it looks great. Wink

Because we do not know when we can fix the problems with phpfusion-mods.com
.

Hello! Pfft

Really why's that? It's better to be on the .co.uk domain anyway. Shock

No, the news has been edited, mods is up and running as a subdomain of php-fusion.co.uk
