Registration Error

Hello guys,
I am having problems with my newly installed fusions. When a member register he receives his registration as normal but on clicking the activation key he is take to an inactive page
The webpage cannot be found
HTTP 404
Most likely causes:
There might be a typing error in the address.
If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.
What you can try:
Retype the address.
Go back to the previous page.
Go to and look for the information you want.

Make sure your site URL is correct and in Admin Panel > System Admin > Main.
I had this problem a long time back and had to change a typo in the URL.

i cant get the verification email sent, and i cant find Admin approval!! |

Admin approval is:
ADMIN PANEL > SYSTEM ADMIN > MAIN SETTINGS > REGISTRATION > New members activated by admin? [YES]
As for sending the verification mail, this seems to be becoming a problem of late for many people - Neither SENDMAIL or SMTP work for me at the moment and they always used to.
Check that your provider allows port 25 for SMTP if that is what you are using to send mail and that in your SMTP settings you use smtp.yoursmtpprovider.com
Don't forget that now Hotmail, AOL and Yahoo etc are blocking unsolicited smtp mail also for some european IP adresses

i know where it is, but after users have registratet they dont show up, i cant activate them, and i tryed to registrate with another computer with nick test and pass Temp123 but i couldnt log in , and that whas when i took of admin approval, it dont work to registrate..
