Here we are again with this problem that has been posted before with no resolutions.
"Attachment file type not allowed." error when attempting to attach a .jpg image of a whole 104kb.
Settings state that this is allowable and well under the maximum size.
Version: 6.01.17

Occasionally a perfectly valid image appears to be rejected. This is then due to some of the code in the image. I haven't had this problem in v7 anymore, but in v6 days it was easily solved by opening the image in another image editor, saving it again (even without editing it).

No sir. Only lower case as default (.gif,.jpg,.png,.zip,.rar,.tar), but my filenames are always lowercase (including extensions also) with no spaces.

I just tried a zip and that was accepted, but no image files. I tried jpg, gif, png. I even saved the png php-fusion logo in the header of this site and I received, "Attachment file type not allowed.". I increased the allowable max size to 1500000 (1.43 m and still no image files attach.
