Additional Field on Registration

Hi!

I'd like to ask help on how will I integrate the birthday field into the registration. I want my users to input their birthday when they register to my site. Some users are kinda "lazy" editing their profile so the birthday field remains blank most of the time.

Can someone please help me how to include it as mandatory field on the registration?
