I am sure this character issue has nothing to do with CSS. I guess its a bug in the back end logic. It is populating extra 'amp;' characters...

<td class="capmain">&amp;#2962;&amp;#2993;&amp;#3021;&amp;#2993;&amp;#3016;&amp;#2980;&amp;#3021;

&amp;#2980;&amp;#2994;&amp;#3016;&amp;#2997;&amp;#2994;&amp;#3007;&amp;#2991;&amp;#3016;
&amp;#2970;&amp;#2990;&amp;#3006;</td>
</tr>

Hi @urbansaint Can you tell us which encoding method you are using?
For me if I save Tamil articles in the database itself they are stored as "&#2962;&#2993;&#3021;&#2993;&#3016;&#2980;&#3021

I guess in your case it is not. Pls let us know if you did anything extra.

You might want to try UTF-8.
KPN Gebruikers Groep, my largest pHp-Fusion site about an ISP.
pHp-Fusion.Org, tutorials to enhance php-fusion.
pHp-Fusion.Asia & pHp-Fusion.Fr & pHp-Fusion.Cn are available for a localized support site. Send PB for info.

I tried that too, For ex, I completely made my fusion_news table as full 'utf-6-unicode-ci' where it was swedish_ci earlier. Yet somehow the the application stores the data into the table itself in "&#2962;&#2993;&#3021;&#2993;&#3016;&#2980;&#3021 format instead of the language chars itself.
