Problem with Arise

Hi

I have a problem with the theme Arise

I have made a new start page forside.php

When I'am using the home icon in the left top of the page, the old news.php is called

Where can I change the call to my new forside.php

I have made the change in the settings, and its working from the menu. It's only the home icon

Adress for the homepage is:

www.elsborg1.dk

I'am using 7.02.04

Hi,
open 'functions.php' that's inside the Arise theme folder.

Find around line 30 in 'functions.php':
Download source  Code
$res = "<ul class='clearfix' id='main-nav'><li$lifirstclass><a href='".BASEDIR."news.php'><span>Home</span></a></li>\n";




Change news.php to forside.php, save and upload.

....Or change it to index.php that way it will always redirect to your sites opening page set in main settings. Wink

I have used the Arise theme (which I love) on another site and everything worked perfect. Trying to add it to a new site I have and the sub-navigation menu does not show up at all.

Any suggestions?
