If this is an OFFICIAL RELEASE for Php-Fusion then all members should be able to get it for free and it should be in the download category.
There should be no requirement for users to have to visit an external website and then HAVE to register for the download.
Again - being GNU software php-fusion and anything released for it labelled as OFFICIAL RELEASE must be made to be totally FREE without any terms or conditions to get such software.
Make it free - you are breaking GNU rules. |

You can just create a user account on my side it is completely free and you can download it.

I dont want to create an account over there, thank you for the offer but if its an official release then really no ody should HAVE to sign up for it, that makes no sense.

You are both wrong, Dooly and Paulf.
We have asked FSF (Free Software Foundation) about the registration, just to cover specifically for that, and it is perfectly legit to demand a user registration in order to get the access to download themes or addons or just about anything.
Furthermore Assensvej is not banned anywhere by our initiative, I can't speak for your sites, but I can speak for this and other parts of the official Community and for the PHP-Fusion management team.
If Assensvej has gotten himself banned whithin the Danish part of PHP-Fusion, I would appreciate a report on this. Via PM.

I'm not here for the drama to be honest.
I'm only saying that a template labelled as an OFFICIAL RELEASE should be here on this site and as such should be freely available for download.

And you are still wrong. You are posting, you have an account, nothing is stopping your download.
If you have nothing else to add but a general, unwarranted complaint, there is not much else to say here about that.
And again, there is nothing to prevent you from registering and posting at Assensvejs site.

I believe you can share with everybody when you have downloaded opensource as long as you dont erase any copyright in the files.
I just downloaded it and will like to share with you all AS Pirate treasure

Thank you Tony, i'll now ignore all the other irrelevant information posted inbetween my original reply to the post, it has no grounding nor information that applies to me.
Thank you all for your support, slightly mis-guided though some of it is.
I do understand everyone here contributes to php-fusion and that is something i support entirely, so good work everyone. |
