Can't Delete Spammer

My site received close to 20 spam messages last night from the same spammer. I am able to delete the messages, but when I click on the name, I get redirected to the front page of the site! This left me no way to get access to the miscreant's profile. I added the spammer's IP address to the "Ban" list, and I was able to delete the use by subsequently deleting him from the banned list. Is there an easier way to fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Hi there,

Check Security Bans. Admin >>> User Admin >>> Members >>> Security Banned.

Probably banned automatically for flooding.
