Ok I was wondering. I am editing files of the type include.php and include_var.php Now they have an Author. Assuming since I am only editing the files I can not change the Author, since the code is not mine. Don't want to take anyone's work from them. But can I add under Author title Edited By and use my name? Thus keeping the original Author intact in the file. |

All I know and abide by are these terms,Always have & always will.
With adherence to that, the Copyright Footer must contain the following:
• "Powered by PHP-Fusion" is optional but is requested for clarity purposes;
• Copyright PHP-Fusion 2002-2011 Nick Jones
- with "PHP-Fusion" linking to http://www.php-fu...
• Released as free software without warranties
• Link to the Affero GPL version 3 license
Just dropping in a few lines to aid you.
As for Theme /Addon developers you should always give credit where credit is due,I dont see any issues with adding a line or two! |

Here's the Original
Filename: user_msn_include.php
Author: Digitanium
I have it like this, because of the name
Filename: user_businessdescription_include.php
Author: Digitanium
I am looking at doing this
Filename: user_msn_include.php
Original Author: Digitanium
New Filename: user_businessdescription_include.php
Edited By: Vyper69
or something like that anyways. |

As far as I can tell all requirements have been met. License is intact as should be, and i stated it had been modified. while at the same time leaving the original author intact. so should not be any issues. i hope. |
