Hi guys, as the title says, no one is able to view member profiles in the site I admin (spirit-and-soul.com) not even the admins, it just keeps reverting back to the new.php page. I'm actually taking over duties from someone else who im assuming upgraded the main core the v7 from v6 and then left abruptly, so I'm having a few problems with infusions too, mainly, when I select one to infuse, and click the button, the page simply refreshes. I'm unsure as to what my predecessor did to the site before I got to it, but i basically put a fresh installion of v7.02.05 in, and having the same problems. CAn anyone suggest any possible causes/solutions? |

I'm not sure what may be causing the profile issue, but as for infusions not installing, it may just be your host.
I noticed sometimes on some MySQL/PHP versions, some infusions my not install properly.
Open up the infusion.php file with a text editor program, search for "ENGINE=MyISAM" or "TYPE=MyISAM" which ever one is listed, replace it with other (example, if its ENGINE=MyISAM, replace it with TYPE=MyISAM).
This should fix the infusion installs. |

Still no luck. Should I maybe uninstall ALL the infusions then reinstall with newer versions? I know v6 infusions dont really work well with v7, im wondering if the problem may be that Im unsure as to what was here before the old admin upgraded. |

You might want to start with the basics. Have you altered or changed profile.php? If so, you may want to consider reverting that back to the original version. Backup anything first. Reverting may allow you to pin-point where the problem actually resides.
More than likely a target path is incorrect, or a file is being accessed directly which may be disallowed.
Have you added any user fields? By the way, have you ever been able to view profile.php in the past? I doubt it's a host issue. |
