I have backup of all the files and the DB.
When I upload all the files to the server I canno't connect with MySql, and I realise that I have to change the DB settings, so I do in config.php.
I still can not connect with MySql, because I have to create a table? (I don't know how)
I thought I could just upload all the files, then log in and upload the zipped sql file, but I don1 get the page up running.
Please help me, tell me what to do? |

If you have the full backup, do the following:
unzip + upload all the files (eg php-fusion folder)
open your PMA + import your dump into it
change your config.php settings (if needed)
change file/folder-rights (images, uploads, attacmnets etc)

I kinda have the same problem. But the point is my other host makes me use different db name and username then it was before. So it seems I cant just load it in phpmyadmin so easily. it says:
"SQL query:
You DO NOT have access TO thatdatabase( brainwas_ ) !
MySQL said: Documentation
#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'You do not have access to that database (brainwas_)!' at line 1 "
Any help how to actually load backup db into mysql ?
Help is appreciated. |

Actually I fixed it, included wrong dump. But now for some reason, pics doesn't load although all paths seem correct and files are there.
Any idea what could be the problem ? |

All content is there, yes. File permissions were set up on the old host appropriately , and backup was made, so it should be ok too, since this is restore from that backup.
Only thing that have changed is domain name. |

Found the problem. .htaccess in images folder had some restrictions, allowed only for former domain name.
Thanks for the help anyway |
