We are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of v7.02.05. In these days, we are applying the finishing touches to this version in the form of bug fixes. Furthermore, I would like to present some of our initial considerations for the development of the next major version of PHP-Fusion, v8. The aim is to make the next major version of PHP-Fusion less community-orientated by reducing the size of the core and releasing modules as officially supported add-ons. In consequence we consider it essential to make PHP-Fusion more extendible by add-ons. We would like to take this opportunity to make it clear once and for all that PHP-Fusion will always remain lightweight and easy to use and modify - even for novices. If you would like to get involved with the core development, please feel free to register on PHP-Fusion NEXT. If you want to join the development team, please fill out the staff application form - we are always looking for burgeoning talents. Watch for the news!
