 To all at PHP-FUSION,
Please join me in thanking Philip for a fantastic job over the years, safeguarding and running PHP-Fusion. He has kept everything running in the face of adversity and betrayal from members in the past and has dealt with those issues with compassion, diplomacy and fearless defence of PHP-Fusion and Nick’s memory.
Sue and I are especially grateful to him for keeping PHP-Fusion going after Nick’s death, keeping him alive in everyone’s everyday memory, just by the simple act of using PHP-Fusion. To my mind, Philip was that glue that kept everyone working together through all the ups and downs and with his unwavering fairness, direction and simple leadership. Sometimes a simple thank you never seems enough, but I hope that Philip will get a thank you from each and every one of you that has ever worked with him in a PM or on the Shoutbox.
Thank you Philip, for everything you have done as Project Manager and I hope you continue to want to be a part of the PHP-Fusion in the future, helping to keep Nick’s legacy alive.
This brings me to welcome Domi as the new Project Manager.
Sue and I expect each of you to support him in his endeavours to bring PHP-Fusion forward and the CMS of choice for the WWW. There will be more updates from Domi and the rest of MT in the coming weeks. My ‘door’ and theirs are always open to all members to talk to.
Both Sue and I also want to thank everyone that has worked on V8 and all the previous versions, without the community stepping up, moving PHP-FUSION along and keeping the user at the heart of your designs – we wouldn’t still be on the WWW.
Thank you, all of you,
