PHP-Fusion is a constantly evolving content management system (CMS) powered by PHP5 and MySQL. It provides an easy to install system with a simple yet powerful set of administrative controls. This means you will have an easy to maintain interactive community website without requiring any knowledge of web programming.

Obviously any experience with HTML would be ideal, but PHP-Fusion can manage perfectly well with any type of input such as plain text, HTML or PHP. Also, PHP-Fusion's News, Articles and Custom Pages admin panels also provide methods of inserting common HTML tags by the click of a button.

PHP-Fusion V7 is built to run on most configurations, this means that you will be able to run PHP-Fusion in just about any environment if you have the minimum requirements.
Our recommended production environment for PHP-Fusion 7 is a LAP stack (Linux, Apache, PHP) for the strongest possible feature support.
Minimum requirements for PHP-Fusion 7.02.xx are
PHP 5.1.2 or higher
MySQL 4.1 or higher
To install and work with a local copy of PHP-Fusion you can download a copy of XAMPP for your given environment ( Windows, Linux or Mac ).
