[Help] background difficulty ...

I have a question ... and request for assistance.
the basic background in black, add a DIV to the relevant content to them. It tightly positioned one on the left, the other firmly on the right, but not fixed.

Code:
CodeDownload
.left-m {
   position:absolute;
   right: 0px; top: 40px;
   z-index:-1;
   width: 249px;
   height: 850px;
   background: url(http://..../right.png) right top no-repeat;
}

.right-m  {
   position:absolute;
   left: 0px; top: 40px;
   z-index:-2;
   width: 249px;
   height: 850px;
   background: url(http://..../left.png) left top no-repeat;
}

How to do the same thing, but both images to fix the page and move them.
Again I say that the two images are not inserted in the BODY, but in a separate DIV.

THANK YOU
and apologize for my "perfect" English
