Problem with emoticons

I was wondering, my site loads ALL EMOTICONS when it's loading, is this normal? I checked this with Firebug (plug-in for Firefox) and everytime (without cache) the site is loading all emoticons (over 100 png files) how can I make it stop?

I asked for this on IRC but you guys seem to sleep there ;)

My site is in my signature.
put this in your .htaccess file

CodeDownload
<ifModule mod_gzip.c>
  mod_gzip_on Yes
  mod_gzip_dechunk Yes
  mod_gzip_item_include file \.(html?|txt|css|js|php|pl)$
  mod_gzip_item_include handler ^cgi-script$
  mod_gzip_item_include mime ^text/.*
  mod_gzip_item_include mime ^application/x-javascript.*
  mod_gzip_item_exclude mime ^image/.*
  mod_gzip_item_exclude rspheader ^Content-Encoding:.*gzip.*
</ifModule>

<ifModule mod_expires.c>
  ExpiresActive On
  ExpiresDefault "access plus 1 seconds"
  ExpiresByType text/html "access plus 1 seconds"
  ExpiresByType image/gif "access plus 2592000 seconds"
  ExpiresByType image/jpeg "access plus 2592000 seconds"
  ExpiresByType image/png "access plus 2592000 seconds"
  ExpiresByType text/css "access plus 604800 seconds"
  ExpiresByType text/javascript "access plus 216000 seconds"
  ExpiresByType application/x-javascript "access plus 216000 seconds"
</ifModule>

<ifModule mod_headers.c>
  <filesMatch "\\.(ico|pdf|flv|jpg|jpeg|png|gif|swf)$">
    Header set Cache-Control "max-age=2592000, public"
  </filesMatch>
  <filesMatch "\\.(css)$">
    Header set Cache-Control "max-age=604800, public"
  </filesMatch>
  <filesMatch "\\.(js)$">
    Header set Cache-Control "max-age=216000, private"
  </filesMatch>
  <filesMatch "\\.(xml|txt)$">
    Header set Cache-Control "max-age=216000, public, must-revalidate"
  </filesMatch>
  <filesMatch "\\.(html|htm|php)$">
    Header set Cache-Control "max-age=1, private, must-revalidate"
  </filesMatch>
</ifModule>

This will speed up your site's load time by 200% if your host have activated all the modules, and it will decrease the pages size by ~ 60%~90%

and find line 47 in maincore and uncomment
CodeDownload
//ob_start("ob_gzhandler");

WOW! It really did!

Also, firebug tells me:

Grade F on Compress components with gzip

There are 6 plain text components that should be sent compressed

* http://alienantfans.com/themes/Asperon/styles.css
* http://alienantfans.com/includes/jscript.js
* http://alienantfans.com/includes/jquery.js
* http://alienantfans.com/infusions/jquery_shoutbox_panel/jquery_shoutbox.js
* http://alienantfans.com/includes/bbcodes/color_bbcode_include_js.js
* http://alienantfans.com/blogger.js

How can I do this?
it's because your host dont have the gzip module activated, i have the same problem :| so you can remove gzhandler and the gzip in htacces.

And yest it is working, yesterday it took me about 15s to load your page :o

and today less than half a second :)
hi!
i followed the code written above.it works for pics and stuff like that but it doesn't work for css and js files.I asked my host and gzip compression is installed on they're servers and it's allowed.how could i compress these files too?
