I have sat here and wondered what was wrong with the forums on one of my sites.

Well today I decided the forums need to be rewritten, because they are totaly useless to me on the site as is.

I do not have the skill or know how to do this, but here is my idea.

When you create a Category let's say Classifieds. I need a sub category that says For Sale, then forums that say Appliances, Cumputers, Houses, and so on. But all I want visible is the Category and sub category. So when I click on the sub category it opens the forum for it.

So all the forums are hidden until i click on the sub category.

Right now when you go to the forums you see everything, one giant list.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this.
Heirarchy forums was done by Matthew. He has done the work for this. Contact him, if you can get him.
Well I could do away with it, if I knew how to link a Fusion db with another db.

Need the username and password from db2 to link to fusion. db2 would control username and password in fusion, since db2 auto generates a password and send it to the users email.

But I have read and read and still have no clue how to do it.

Anyone up to linking them for me
