Moving from localhost to a live url?

Got a website I've developed for a gaming community (dev'd locally) and now I'm wanting to upload it, I'm wondering if the only things I need to do are change "Site Host:" under the main settings or if there's anywhere else that I need to change?
Well, make a fresh installation.. then when a bare site is working, move your sql tables into the online one.
change site-host, site-url and probably site-port and site-protocol. After moving your site you probably cannot login to it, so you have to enter this settings via phpmyadmin or similar tool

Are you sure about that Chan?, the reason I ask is, lets say for example the Site Host does need to be changed, if I import the DB, it will then import the table that says 'loacalhost' and not the domainname....

Thanks Douwe, I figured there was some tables I'd need to modify.
Hi,
I have a PHP-Fusion v7.02.07 free hosting page(http://troyanovo.comyr.com/) on http://000webhost.com. Recently there was suspended my site and reminded to me to update all data host by backup MySQL and data. I reloaded, but arise problem with charset. On my PC with xampp localhost all is OK. Please, help me with advice. In attache hosts shots .Thanks!
jekov attached the following file:
hostshots.7z [941.01kB / 153 Downloads]
It is the Hosts versioning and default charset that makes it go bad. You need to convert all your files, databases and file formats to UTF-8 if you want it to work with such hosts. It is not an easy task if not familiar with such things.
My troubles with wrong display charset were by PHP version. PHP Fusion v7.02.07 need < PHP5.4 . I change to PHP5.3 in setting on the Host for my Web site and now all seem to OK. Thanks!
