by Tilly, Last updated on 9 months ago in Installation Issues- 9

I will soon install PHP-Fusion 9.0 on my site but want to know best PHP Server version to use??

Requirements for PHP-Fusion 9.0 version
- PHP 5.5.08 or higher
- MySQL 5.1 or higher
- Apache 2.2 or higher
- Nginx 1.0 or higher - mod_rewrite or equivalent for SEO

My web Hosting available PHP server versions:
PHP 5,5
PHP 5,6 (Native)
PHP 5,6
PHP 7.0
PHP 7.1
PHP 7.2

Which PHP version to choose?
Will old adds on from PHP-Fusion 7.02.07 work?
Anything over PHP 7 is best for 9. Some things may work in 9 from 7, other may need some tweaking.

Ok thanks, will try PHP 7.2 and some old addons...
Hi as mentioned it is at least a minimum of 5.6.8 above. Don’t go minimum if you are upgrading.

PHP 7 offers opCache which will speed up your site A LOT faster.
