General Support Request Guidelines

The official support community forum is run by a the community for the community. We are very active PHPFusion user that uses the system to build websites ranging at a corporations, community or hobbyist level. Each distribution of the PHPFusion CMS is released as-is and is working for all normal use cases situation. We have tested in XAMPP, Laragon, MAMP, Local Linux Servers, and even on our development website.

If you are here, it means you need help in something, or something is not working for you.

It might be not normal to you, but when you tinker the configuration, you're stepping into the development areas for customization. We usually have a lot of questions when it comes to 'things that don't work'. No worries, we are here to help you to sort it out, but you need to be very polite at all times. Many of the users here are respectable seniors that has been around for more than 20 years.

Prepare this information before you start your thread, or else it will be ignored

What information should you prepare for every single question


Must Include: What did not work?

Must Include: What you did before things went wrong?

Screenshot/videos (Highly recommended)
A screenshot or visual guide to explain the situation could be very helpful. Use Windows Snippet tool to do a screen capture. Or use the latest Opera Browser that comes with a screenshot tool.

Error Codes
For each error, you can access the stack trace in errors admin. Look into the details view. See which line of which file is causing the error.

Server Information:
Linux or Windows IIS? Version?
Apache or Nginx? Version?
PHPMyAdmin/MariaDB Version?
Hosting Environment - VPS? Shared? Localhost?

PHPFusion CMS version
Which Version?
Where did you down it from?

Mods installed, especially panels and infusions, and 3rd party scripts

These information could provide some insights to quickly come up with an best proximity answer, because 8 out of 10 times, you might have the questions asked in the wrong direction. Lastly, please request the thread to be closed, especially when you realised you have asked the wrong questions that could not possibly help the next reader.
