Messages.php error

I have this error in the errorlog
Trying to access array offset on value of type bool
messages.php line 232

Line232 is:

if ($msg_settings['pm_sentbox'] != "0" && ($cdata['outbox_count'] + 1) > $msg_settings['pm_sentbox']) {

I tried to replicate the issue, please Verify that this is in 8 and also clear the log and see if it comes back.
