Latest stable version of Bootstrap and Jquery

Is there any reason why PHP-Fusion still uses old versions of Bootstrap and jQuery frameworks?

Interestingly, the one on this site has a more updated version of jQuery V3.3.1 compared to the one in recently released version that has jQuery v2.2.4 bundled with it.

Is there a documentation on what could break if we manually overwrite the files with the latest release of Bootstrap and jQuery?

Just curious...
For compatibility only. V10 (in development) allows you to switch between multiple CSS frameworks.

If you need BS 4, you can use it.

Here is my NSS website https://php-fusion.eu/. Latest 9.03.80 and latest Bootstrap 4.5.0. You only need to make some additional fixes. But it works perfectly.
