|Image proxying is necessary when you use HTTPS for the whole website, because linking images from a website using HTTP the browser might block that image due to mixed content. Image proxying is done by downloading external images, storing them and linking them from your website.
So goes for external links where instead of direct external links you replace them with a redirection page (https://my-secure-fusion-website.com/redirect.php?to=http://unsecure-website.com)
