It's hard to believe that's it's been a whole year since we lost our founder and friend Nick Jones. The time has just flown by but PHP-Fusion is still here going strong which is a powerful testament to Nick's philosophy of openness and sharing.
He is greatly missed to this day and we hope we can keep his legacy alive by continuing on emulating the creativity, innovation not to mention friendship he shared with all of us.

Hmm, I get so sad when thinking about it again... Frown

Yes, time's just flown away - I don't feel like it's a hole year since he sadly went away.

He's family have all my thoughts with them.

We all can just do one thing: Keep he's excellent work alive - keep PHP-Fusion going strong!

Dear Sue,

I am still sorry to hear about Nick’s death one year on. I am still in shock, especially that I remember talking to Nick just days before his passing I remember that we were already planning for the next version of PHP-Fusion at the time, and he was planning to come back and get involved with the development of the project again.

I cannot imagine the pain of losing a son.
I definitely miss him. My friends from around the Community are also extending their deepest sympathies to you and your family.

You and your family will always be in my prayers and Nick's Legacy will live on for many more years to come.

Deepest Sympathies

I didn't know him personally, so I don't know much about his nature(unfortunately) but his works and whatever he did for this huge project shows his true spirit and passion towards the project... and I love that...

Rest In Peace...

In my early days of scouring the web for a good CMS, I happened across PHPF - I had a few initial problems and I was lucky enough to have Nick Jones help me through a process that for me today is simple. He treated me as an 'old boy' newcomer not an idiot, lamer or noob. Nick Jones you were and always will be a star in my eyes. You fired up an interest in me that will never grow stale.

Nick was a great guy; he setup my very first forum. I was nervous, he said not to worry and about 20 minutes later I was up and running! RIP my dear friend!
