Category Development & Design

We have due to popular demand decided to have a PHP-Fusion V8 logo competition.
We hope that this also compensates everyone that looked forward to the theme competition that we postponed until we have a PHP-Fusion v8 beta out.
The logo can be either with only PHP-Fusion as text or with PHP-Fusion text with the number 8 and the atom theme we always had need to be retained.
All logoīs we receive to this competition will be regarded as PHP-Fusionīs intellectual property and free to use.

In order for us to be able to approve and start the competition we will need a minimum of four participantīs. Each participant will be allowed to submit two versions of their logo.
Everyone interested in this competition need to send their contributionīs to me no later than 2013-09-01.
After 2013-09-01 we will start a poll within PHP-Fusion staff where all PHP-Fusion staff getīs to vote on their favourite logo.
We will close this vote poll 2013-09-15 and introduce the winners the following day.
We will have a total ranking between 1 and 3.
The winner will receive 50€, second place will receive 25€ and third place will receive 15€.
Prizeīs winnerīs will be paid via PayPal.

Thank you everyone for your contributions, we have recived alot of fine concepts!
We will accept contributions until 2013-09-01

[ Update x 2 ]
We have had equal results in the vote.
Because of this we will need to run a vote on top voted logos that share positions.
Results will be presented and final after 20th this month!

@pattyland you do have a point, however I see only staff members voting for a few reasons..
1. There is cash awards, where does that money come from? more then likely the staff.
2. Staff members have worked hard, its a perk..
3. Do you need to use it on your site?? NO..

1. And maybe from donaters like me?
2. And the community is worthless? The community is which make php fusion what it is
3. No, but I see it every time I visit this site

I think it's a cheek and not a community,,,

Actually, chaps, the prizes come from myself and Sue, Nick's mother.

The reason all rights are for the site is due to licensing. So if you choose to submit an image and it wins, you have the kudos of seeing your image up in lights on every V8, the credit for it and a prize.
All competitions are run that way and its in the terms and conditions before you enter, read them!
If you don't agree with them, don't enter!
So please try to take it in the spirit in which it is done - after all it is for Nick's legacy. He is the reason you are all here as a community, keeping it alive.

Try not to forget that.

Thanks to those already entered! Good luck!
