If you're running your site on a local, virtual (unmanaged), or dedicated (unmanaged) machine, the sendmail function needs to be set. This requires installing a mail server. This is a high occurrence issue with WAMP & XAMPP, or just plain A/M/P. You'll find it tough to set one up on Windows. You also need to forward port 25 if it's not already done -- some hosts do not allow this, nor do most ISPs (for local web servers), only port 80 and other minimally required ports. The best way to counter is to order a shared hosting package from a webhost. If money is an issue, and you have a domain and don't mind not having cPanel, I recommend nfoservers.com for a basic web hosting package (very reputable, only $2.99 unlimited everything and true DDoS mitigation). If you don't have your own domain, they do offer two choices of a subdomain, as well as a 2 day free trial with no money required. I have hosted countless PHPFusion sites with them, and have absolutely no issues. I have many issues with a lot of hosts and 500 internal server errors, but never with that one. In addition, make sure your browser is not automatically filling in the SMTP form on the settings page. Visit the page, clear the fields, and save. Then visit your main settings page, and ensure that the "admin email" is a valid one. You can then test by registering an account with a valid email, or just test the lost password function. (Apologies to staff if I may not suggest a host here, if so, please edit it out, and I am sorry -- just trying to suggest convenience and cost wise)

I disabled a few currently enabled bbcodes to enable them again in the order I want them, instead of constantly moving them up and down to my desired preference. Now, however, they do not enable. I click enable, the page seems to load, but nothing happens. I don't seem to have any other issues, and I've made no changes to the bbcode system nor the maincore aside from the HTML usernames. There are also no infusions enabled that would cause an issue. No change. I still cannot enable those 4 bbcodes.

I'm using PHPFusion for my next project, but the theme I'm interested in is giving me a little issue. Of course, the support site for it is long gone. I haven't even logged in to the forums here as I haven't needed any support -- but I'm confused on this one as I've never had to do this in PHP Fusion before. if you're using cpanel make sure your account name is followed by your database settings. e.g. your cpanel account on your host is turtles09 your database name is site your database username is cookies your database name would be turtles09_site your database username would be turtles09_cookies your password would be what you set it as and the host would either be a) localhost or b) the host they provide you with these settings do apply to windows hosts too (some). i've used wamp on my servers as well as home computer and i know you do not need to enter db info that way. good to know it's apparently resolved though. also, those broken image links, it could be that the web server capacity is high and it's loading slow the image isn't there or there's no read permissions, personally even though it's dangerous unless you protect it i chmod everything to 777
